PTO Committees
DEVELOPMENT FUNDRAISER:
The chairman will work directly with the PTO Executive Board. The Chairman and committee will solicit corporate donations and sponsorships for various events throughout the school year. DIRECTORY: Organizes student information and publishes student directory in the Fall. Coordinates "new student" updates as needed.GENERAL VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers for this committee work any unforeseen events which may take place during the school year.HOSPITALITY:
Helps to cook and prepare food and drink items for various staff, school events and PTO functions during the school year.LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE:
Did you know that parent volunteers are responsible for keeping our school grounds beautiful? The grounds are cut and trimmed by Williamson County Schools, but the flowers, plants and planters out front are all maintained by volunteers. This is a great way to get involved and "see" the difference your hard work makes!LOST/FOUND:
This committee monitors and organizes the Lost/Found area.OFFICE SUPPORT:
The chairman is responsible for organizing workers schedule. Parent volunteers will assist the office daily from 1:30pm until dismissal. Volunteers will help the office staff with answering phones and answering the intercom, determining what an individual needs before allowing them admittance to the building. Volunteers will also help with filing, passing out messages, sorting papers and putting papers in teacher’s mailboxes. SPIRIT WEAR: The PTO sells spirit wear during the school year at various events. Duties are selling the apparel/items during and after school at school events.TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION:
Show the faculty and staff at Page Middle how much parents appreciate our hard working Page team. Chairperson coordinates all activities for the week of teacher appreciation.VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR:
This committee coordinates all volunteers for each event along with the committee chairperson. This committee is very important as they are responsible to contact those who sign up to volunteer for any activity to get contacted and kept informed.WORKROOM VOLUNTEERS:
Chairman is responsible for organizing workers schedule. Volunteers are needed to make and distribute copies for the faculty as well as maintain, replenish and organize the inventory of workroom supplies for the PTO and the office. 6th PARENT COORDINATOR: Chairman works directly with the PTO Executive Board 6th Grade Member at Large to coordinate dances and other school events for the 6th grade the school year. They are also the liaison between the 6th Grade Home Room Parents and the 6th Grade Member at Large.This committee is very important as they are responsible for contacting, coordinating and informing all 6th Grade Home Room Parents of events during the school year.
7th PARENT COORDINATOR:
Chairman works directly with the PTO Executive Board 7th Grade Member at Large to coordinate dances and other school events for the 7th grade the school year. They are also the liaison between the 6th Grade Home Room Parents and the 7th Grade Member at Large.This committee is very important as they are responsible for contacting, coordinating and informing all 7th Grade Home Room Parents of events during the school year.
